Hi, I’m Becky Wiseman

As an Early Years Teacher at Mouse’s Garden, I feel so fortunate to spend my days helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, and joy. I love supporting their discoveries – whether they’re exploring the garden, making something new with their hands, or learning through play with friends. My approach is calm, patient, and nurturing, and I believe that when children feel listened to and cared for, they flourish.

Before joining Mouse’s Garden, I spent several years teaching in primary schools across different year groups, working with wonderful children at such an exciting stage in their learning. Those experiences helped me realise how much I value the early years; a time when children’s imaginations are at their brightest and learning happens most naturally through play.

I’ve always loved the outdoors, and I’m passionate about creating learning opportunities that connect children with nature. For the past few years, I’ve run a school gardening club, helping children plant, dig, and create crafts inspired by what they find outside.

Outside of nursery life, I love painting and drawing, walking in the countryside, and exploring new places. You’ll also often find me running or catching up with friends and family; simple joys that keep me grounded and inspired.
