Launch Date and Open Day Postponed
Firstly, we wanted to say a huge thank you for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm you’ve shown for Mouse’s Garden since we announced our forthcoming launch. We have been blown away by the level of interest, and it has been a joy to see so many messages come flowing in.
On a slightly less joyful note, we received the deeply disappointing news that, due to reasons entirely out of our hands, our Ofsted site visit has been delayed. The rolling out of the final stage of the increased funding scheme has meant a huge increase in early years settings opening and expanding nationwide, which in turn means Ofsted are taking longer to process each application.
This visit is a vital component of our official Ofsted registration, and we sadly cannot legally open without this taking place. It is an unexpected bump in the road, but certainly nothing that we will allow to dampen our spirits or lessen our drive in any way.
We’re now planning to open in January 2026 and are full of exciting ideas to make the launch even more special. We can’t wait to welcome your children into our beautiful cosy yurts. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way and will let you know as soon as we’ve had our visit from Ofsted.
Due to the delay we have also made the decision to move our Open Day to Sunday, 12th October 2025 from 12pm-3pm. We hope you can make the new date, meet our team and get a sense of what life at Mouse’s Garden will be like. If you aren’t able to make the new date please get in touch and we can arrange to show you around individually. This can be arranged for after the Open Day.
We’re obviously frustrated by the delay, and are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. But we assure you it will be well worth the wait. We’re so excited to share everything we’ve been working so hard on with you and your children.
Until then, we thank you sincerely for your patience and ongoing support. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
